I was just at the store this afternoon to purchase Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips, Cookies, and Crunchy Flax cereal. I love their products so much. Haven't seen these chips yet but I will keep my eyes open next time I am purchasing my chocolate chips :)

Thanks for the color suggestions ladies! And yes, all three of those are in the running. I had a nice light gray picked out for the master bath (only room in the house that has not been painted yet... and it's been 11 years) but I moved that over the baby's room to look at. I have a few neutral "cappuccino" colors in mind too (and 2 swatches taped the wall). The furniture color is Cinnamon and I think a neutral would look really nice. My whole house is neutral though (I use pops of color in other areas but my walls are B.L.A.N.D). I was just afraid that everything is TOO neutral. We'll have to make a decision in the next couple of weeks as Hubs needs to get painting :)

Thanks for the heads up! Good luck calling the company, I know first hand how hard Customer Service Reps can be to deal with. I just wish the companies could say things more outright, with less fear of being sued. But no, so "may I please speak with your supervisor" is my mantra.

This is the best invetion I've tried in years. I saw it on Dr. Oz. I joked about wanting it as a present for Christmas. Well, I got one for Chirstmas and it's been the best gift I've ever gotten. I love ice-cream and this is just as good. I've found that the more ripe the bananas when you freeze them the better the taste. I even took it to work to make for people as they didn't believe me when I told them about it. They just kept asking me, "This is just fruit, nothing else?". "Yes", I replied.

Congratulations to him on his upcoming communion! I have been thinking about this same thing as we approach it for my son.

We moved within the last year and have been visiting churches for a while. It was interesting me that when we went to the one we are going to now, they had a gluten free version. That isn't what we need but just the fact that they made those arrangements for people that need them made me teary eyed. I'd never seen any kind of concession like that made for food allergies/sensitivities.

I hope and pray that all goes well!

Didn't he have his first holy communion last year? For some reason, I remember you and a party and the new basement. I think I have it goofed up.

At any rate, at least there is some type of way for him to do communion, though I do feel like the poor kid gets a bit cheated. Better cheated then plunged with an Epi pen over it. At least there is something that you can work with and with both you and Hubs doing communion handling, let's hope that things go on better than it had been.

Anything new with the school?

Being a germaphobe, I wouldn't be able to drink from the communal cup anyhow. (Horrible, I know.) Work knows that if they open a bag of chips, offer it to me first or I won't eat any. It's a good diet control. ;)

Your story sounds very similar to ours. As far as having all of the early signs of food allergies, and never being suggested from doctors. I am sorry you went through this. Here is to helping other moms going through those obvious signs, finding you blog :) Cheers!!
