Older Boy had a field trip on the Good Time III. It was rainy and cool that day but the kids had fun anyway. I didn't get sea sick so all went well.
The Little Man's class went to Hale Farm and village for a field trip. No that's not a real gun.
We road Thomas the Tank Engine for the 7th year in a row. And although Older Boy has outgrown the magic, the Little Man was all into it.
Two Memorial Day Parades. One was fun and the other was more in line with what Memorial Day truly is.
The final spring soccer game and the regional Pinewood Derby race (he came in 4th in the region which is pretty outstanding).
Both boys have been playing baseball (no pictures of that...yet). And we've been mulching, and planting and working ourselves to death outside (no one wants to see pictures of that).
Swim team starts next week but other than that (and baseball) I'm hoping that things will quiet down around here. It's been too hectic and tiring. Mama needs a summer break too.
What have you been up to?

Wow, what a busy spring! We've been enjoying a fairly leisurely summer so far except for moving my son and dil.
You certainly did have a busy time of it these last couple of months! As you say, a lot of it was fun stuff but it's also very tiring. School doesn't let out here until the end of June and then they'll resume the Tuesday following Labour Day. Loved seeing the pictures of your boys, they're growing up so fast! Best of luck to them on their swimming and baseball...hope mama gets to rest soon! hehe xoxo
Wow you sure have been busy! But creating a lot of fun memories too :)
I was wondering if Little Man's symptoms presented themselves in the same way as described here?

How did his food allergy 1st manifest, that is in which food category and have you found that the restriction "creep" has slowed or accelerated as he has gotten older? We are trying to get a handle on what might be expected. We know everyone is different but looking for commonalities.
Hi Jen,
You can find the complete story of how we discovered my son's food allergies Here: http://zumfamily.blogspot.com/2008/05/food-allergy-week-how-this-all-began.html
He was a reflux, RAD, eczema baby so he certainly did the allergy march. The first food we knew he reacted to was wheat, but I'm sure there were signs before that (like how he didn't tolerate milk based formula) that we missed.
I also did a post about the allergy march here:

Yes, every child is different, but there are some clear "allergic" signs that will let you know that you should be concerned.
E-mail me if you have any other questions or if I didn't answer your questions completely.
