Sometimes You Just Have To Ask

I wrote a post on WEGO Health about eating out with food allergies.

We know what to do and the questions to ask to see if a kitchen is able to cook for my son. But this post is more about me getting over my fear of letting my son eat out or be cooked for by other people. I didn't even realize that I was holding my son back.

I think if my kids allergies were as severe as yours I would be just like you. Very afraid of eating out. My kids have never spent the night at anyones house except for grandmas. I just never trusted anyone else to feed my kids. I was scared of allergic reactions as well. I always brought my kids own food to picnics, pot lucks, and church get togethers. I found that if I didn't my kid was very limited to what he could eat and would go hungry. I am glad that he has grown out of most of his food allergies. It sure makes it easier to eat away from home.

Has anyone had problems with the rubber part shredding? I have had two Yonannans machines in one month and it has happened on both.
