July Fourth: Sparklers and Fire
We only had fire. Only our neighbors had fireWORKS. I'm too fearful to let the husband shoot them off. But he swears he will next year (we'll see...). This is actually the first year I let the boys have sparklers (thanks to the dollar bin at Target). Things with fire scare me. But everyone fared well and we didn't light ourselves up. Yes, you'll see by the pictures that we do camp fires occasionally, but I'm usually harping on the boys the whole time to stay away (Am I too over protective?? Probably...)

We had the same kind of thing! Fire in the fire pit. Sparklers. Marshmallows. Scabbing off of the neighbors (illegal) fireworks purchase.

They look SO happy with the sparklers! I would love to sit around a campfire. That looks so nice. I really want to make some s'mores.
Third last pic, the Little Man looks like a total superhero with some sort of flame throwing power :-).

How neat to have a fire pit in your yard! I'd be pretty protective around it, too.
I think you can never be too careful around a fire so I'm with you in making sure they don't get hurt!! We use to buy fireworks when the boys were little but they always scared the bejesus outta me. It all goes back to when I was a little girl and my older brothers would throw those little firecrackers at me! lol Loved the pictures, looks like the boys were loving those sparklers and the roasted marshmallows:-) xoxo
