Injured
Here we have one 5 year old boy with a broken collar bone.

Hubs and I went out for the evening when we got the call that the Little Man got injured. Our big night out ended up being a big night out IN the ER. He was a tough kid and handled it really well.
So he's convalescing in the spare room because there is a TV in there (hence the flowered sheets). Now I just have to keep a busy five year old boy quiet for 3 to 4 weeks while it heals. Good luck to me.

You skipped many many fine details. Who broke your kid? Eeek! How horrible, but by the look on his face, he isn't minding stuff too awfully much.
Oh, I am so sorry.
Poor guy! You know, with three boys, I was sure I'd end up in the ER through the years, but so far I haven't been -- well, not with them, anyway. Hope he has a smooth convalescence (and you, too!)
It must have been the weekend. Our 4 year old grandson fell into a campfire. He caught himself, so it's not as bad as it could be, but he did burn his hand and leg-third degree. He has to go back to the hospital every day for ten days and have the burns scrubbed, then salved. He's a real go-getter (plus this is the allergy boy) so keeping him quiet is going to be tough. He thinks he's going to VBS tomorrow.
what a trooper..love that smile!
oh migoodness!!!!! poor guy!! (though he looks happy as a clam in that picture!)
i broke mine as a kid. my mom didn't even know it except that i was walking around with my right shoulder in a shrug position and she couldn't figure out why. I was 5 too. I fell out of bed. Hope he heels up soon!!!
I am so sorry. My sons friend just had the same thing happen. I hope the time passes fast.
GAH! I'm so sorry--for everyone! ;)
Poor little guy!
